While this position was initially limited, I have naturally fit in to the work environment and developed the small storage business into a developing facility. My work with online marketing has increased occupation by over 15% and organic Google rankings from below 30 to number 1 in just 3 months.
Belle Events
Jul 2019 – Current
Driven by a passion for project management, I launched a business to help clients design their dream event. My venture was thriving until COVID-19 struck, leading to the cancellation of eight out of my ten booked weddings and postponement of the other two. This challenging turn of events could have derailed my business, but instead, I chose to redirect my energy.
Embracing resilience, I shifted focus to writing a wedding planner, aiming to support couples through the complexities of wedding planning during uncertain times. This goal was achieved with the release of my planner in August 2024. The experience highlights my determination, showing that even amidst adversity, I can adapt plans to create new opportunities.
Now that the pandemic has passed and events are back to happening with minimal restrictions, I have booked one wedding for August 2025.
Tamworth Business Chamber
November 2023 – July 2024
Dedicated to support of the Tamworth business community, Tamworth Business Chamber has a strong focus on supporting their members through networking events and campaigns to promote local investment. On starting this role, I was focussed on recovering the Chamber as it went through a transition period. As the only staff member for the first three months, I was responsible for maintaining member accounts, financial reconciliation, planning events, liaising with sponsors, coordinating media releases, and executing a competition with a prize pool of over $45,000.
Taking Shape
March 2017 - November 2023
While in the position of Store Manager, I improved customer sales and merchandising to the extent that Tamworth Taking Shape had risen to the status of Mid-Range store in most categories and Flagship in others. Under my guidance the Tamworth store won the businesses two biggest competitions two years in a row and the store was the second highest ranking store in terms of budget for the same two years
